Currently, as competition for hegemony between the United States and China intensifies due to the rise of China, the security environment aroundthe Korean Peninsula is experiencing unpredictable changes. The Russia-Ukraine War is a geopolitical conflict in the form of a proxy war that broke out in Ukraine, a buffer zone of strategic competition between the United States and Russia, and suggests that a war could break out onthe Korean Peninsula, which is in a similar geopolitical position, due to competition for hegemony between the United States and China. Meanwhile, the performance of drones in the Russia-Ukraine war is becoming a stage for evaluating future war fighting methods and weapon systems. Ukraine used a variety of drones to weaken the Russian military's operational tempo, showing new possibilities in military operations. However, research on how to operate drones in changing future warfare is stilllacking. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to predict the future security environment of the Korean Peninsula, determine threats, study the operational concept of the future Army through the development of science and technology and research on future warfare aspects, and present a plan for developing dronebot operation by echelon. will be.As a research method, first, to study the future security environment of the Korean Peninsula, Korea's geopolitical position, the security policies of countries surrounding the Korean Peninsula (US, Japan, China, Russia), and threats from North Korea were analyzed; second, the need for drones and defense science Through research on the development of technology, the development prospects of future drones were predicted, and the concept of future army operations was derived by analyzing 'hybrid warfare' and 'mosaic warfare'. Through this, the future army was properly divided into three and presented how to operate dronebots.The Army's dronebot operation development plan is as follows. The ground operation unit is a unit that directly implements the operational concept of the future army. During peacetime, it operates dronebots along with a scientific surveillance system to monitor and control enemy activities within the DMZ and enforce security. The resources saved through this are allocated to the attack operation unit, and when signs of war are discovered, dronebots are used to eliminate the enemy's conventional artillery and nuclear/WMD threats, and then strike the enemy's core war-fighting forces and infrastructure to strengthen their will to wage war.It will be annihilated. Special operations forces are units that carry out special operations to achieve military objectives deep behind enemy lines. By operating dronebots, they have surveillance capabilities and precise strike capabilities over a wider and more secret area, eliminating nuclear weapons and WMD and protecting third countries. will respond to intervention.
