Development Plan for Army Drone Bot Utilization Considering Security Environment and Future Warfare TrendsThe security environment of the Korean Peninsula has been continuously experiencing war crises caused by foreign powers since the past due to its geopolitical location at the intersection of continental and maritime powers. Currently, as competition for hegemony between the United States and China intensifies due to the rise of China, the security environment aroundthe Korean Peninsula is experiencing unpredictable changes. The Russia-Ukraine War is a geopolitical conflict in the form of a proxy war that broke out in Ukraine, a buffer zone of strategic competition between the United States and Russia, and suggests that a war could break out onthe Korean Peninsula, which is in a similar geopolitical position, due to competition for hegemony between the United States and China. Meanwhile, the performance of drones in the Russia-Ukraine war is becoming a stage for evaluating future war fighting methods and weapon systems. Ukraine used a variety of drones to weaken the Russian military's operational tempo, showing new possibilities in military operations. However, research on how to operate drones in changing future warfare is stilllacking. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to predict the future security environment of the Korean Peninsula, determine threats, study the operational concept of the future Army through the development of science and technology and research on future warfare aspects, and present a plan for developing dronebot operation by echelon. will be.As a research method, first, to study the future security environment of the Korean Peninsula, Korea's geopolitical position, the security policies of countries surrounding the Korean Peninsula (US, Japan, China, Russia), and threats from North Korea were analyzed; second, the need for drones and defense science Through research on the development of technology, the development prospects of future drones were predicted, and the concept of future army operations was derived by analyzing 'hybrid warfare' and 'mosaic warfare'. Through this, the future army was properly divided into three and presented how to operate dronebots.The Army's dronebot operation development plan is as follows. The ground operation unit is a unit that directly implements the operational concept of the future army. During peacetime, it operates dronebots along with a scientific surveillance system to monitor and control enemy activities within the DMZ and enforce security. The resources saved through this are allocated to the attack operation unit, and when signs of war are discovered, dronebots are used to eliminate the enemy's conventional artillery and nuclear/WMD threats, and then strike the enemy's core war-fighting forces and infrastructure to strengthen their will to wage war.It will be annihilated. Special operations forces are units that carry out special operations to achieve military objectives deep behind enemy lines. By operating dronebots, they have surveillance capabilities and precise strike capabilities over a wider and more secret area, eliminating nuclear weapons and WMD and protecting third countries. will respond to intervention. Thelocal defense unit is a unit that defends our military's rear area from asymmetrical forces such as enemy chemical and biological attacks, special operations unit activities, and ambiguous attacks such as crime and terrorist acts. This will contribute tothe smooth operation of ground operations forces.As mentioned above, the Army's dronebot development plan was presented considering the security environment of the Korean Peninsula and future war patterns. 안보 환경과 미래 전쟁양상변화를 고려한 육군 드론봇 운용 발전방안 한반도의 안보환경은 과거부터 대륙 및 해양세력의 교차점인 지정학적 위치 로 외세에 의한 전쟁위기 상황을 지속적으로 겪어왔다. 현재 중국의 부상으로 인해 미ㆍ중 패권 경쟁이 심화되면서 한반도 주변의 안보환경은 예측하기 어려 운 변화를 겪고 있다. 러시아-우크라이나 전쟁은 미국과 러시아 간의 전략적 경쟁이 완충지역인 우크라이나에서 대리전 양상의 지정학적 충돌이 발발하였으 며, 비슷한 지정학위치인 한반도에서도 미국과 중국의 패권경쟁으로 전쟁이 발 발할 수 있음을 시사한다. 한편, 러시아-우크라이나 전쟁에서 드론의 활약은 미래 전쟁수행방식과 무기 체계 등이 평가되는 무대가 되고 있다. 우크라이나가 다양한 드론을 활용하여 러시아군의 작전 템포를 약화시키며 군사작전에서 새로운 가능성을 보여주었 다. 그러나 변화하는 미래전에서 드론을 어떻게 운용할 것인지에 대한 연구는 아직 부족하다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 미래의 한반도 안보환경을 예측하여 위협을 판단하고, 과학기술의 발전과 미래전 양상의 연구를 통해 미래 육군의 작전개념을 연구하여 제대별 드론봇 운용 개념에 대해서 제시하는 것이다. 연구방법으로는 첫 번째 미래 한반도 안보환경을 연구하기 위해 우리나라의 지정학적 위치 및 한반도 주변국(미국, 일본, 중국, 러시아)의 안보정책, 북한의 위협을 분석하였으며, 두 번째 드론의 필요성과 국방과학기술의 발전에 대한 연구를 통해 미래전 드론의 발전 전망을 예측하며, ‘하이브리드전’과 ‘모자이크 전’을 분석하여 미래 육군 작전개념을 도출하였다. 이를 통해 미래 육군을 3개 의 제대로 구분하여 드론봇을 어떻게 운용 할 것인지 제시하였다. 육군의 드론봇 운용 개념은 다음과 같다. 지상작전부대는 미래 육군의 작전 개념을 직접적으로 실행하는 부대로서 평시에 과학화 경계 시스템과 함께 드론 봇을 운용하여 DMZ내 적활동을 감시 및 통제하며, 경계를 실시한다. 이를 통 해 절약된 자원은 공격작전부대로 할당되며, 전쟁징후 발견 시 드론봇을 운용 하여 적의 재래식 포병 및 핵ㆍWMD 위협을 제거하고, 이후 적의 전쟁수행 핵 심세력 및 기반시설을 타격하여 전쟁수행의지를 말살할 것이다. 특수작전부대 는 적진 깊숙한 곳에서 군사적 목적을 달성하기 위해 특수작전을 실시하는 부 대로서 드론봇을 운용하여 더욱 넓고 은밀한 영역에 대한 감시능력과 정밀한 타격능력을 보유하여, 핵ㆍWMD제거 및 제3국의 개입을 대응할 것이다. 지역 방위부대는 적의 생화학공격, 특수전 부대 활동 등의 비대칭전력과 범죄, 태러 행위 등의 모호성을 가진 공격으로부터 아군의 후방지역을 방어하는 부대로서 드론봇을 운용하여 후방지역내의 다양한 정보를 수집 및 분석하여 적의 공격을 예측 및 대응한다. 이를 통해 지상작전부대의 원활한 작전에 기여할 것이다. 이상과 같이 한반도 안보환경과 미래전쟁양상을 고려한 육군의 드론봇 운용 개념을 제시하였다. 드론이라는 새로운 무기체계를 도입하기 위해 많은 노력을 기울이고 있지만 미래전에서 어떤 작전개념으로 운용할지에 대한 고민이 필요 하며, 향후 충분한 작전적, 교리적인 근거를 통해 드론봇 운용 개념 연구가 진 행되기를 기대해본다. 국문요약 : 안보환경, 지정학, 미래 전쟁양상, 모자이크전, 드론봇
